7 ❀ Assignments
| 1. Internal Affairs Perhaps the most mundane of assignments but someone has to help keep this citadel running, right? There are hoses to be fed, fields to be weeded, and don't forget the other odd duties here and there. With this many spirits inone citadel, someone has to help make sure everyone has dinner and the laundry is done! Hopefully you have a good partner helping you today but as some might know, sometimes the bigger question isn't who they are but where they are... Someone has to do the dirty work! So where are you?! 2. Expeditions Not everything is about fighting. Sometimes there are assignments to gather intel or help clean up after another squad. There are small things that can be done to make sure history follows its course and some fo those things include feeding the hungry after a disaster or just making sure the right people meet after their paths were thrown off. Expeditions are perfect for the new addition that needs to be eased into missions before being sent to the frontline. 3. Frontlines - Before Whether you're ready or not, it's time to go out to the frontlines. There's a big mission everyone needs to do and history is wildly off course. A squad is gathered up and sent to a difficult time and a battle is inevitable. Is this moment painful for you? Well, such is the nature of a touken danshi, right? Don't get too close to "That Person" and don't get any funny ideas. ... Also, where's [insert name of problematic sword boy that was assigned on this mission for some god unknown reason]? Or maybe it's been 20 years and you're still on this mission! Sometimes missions last longer than a few days or weeks. They can drag on for months and those months sometimes become years. How have you been keeping your cover and making a living in this era? Remember, don't stand out or cause too much trouble. Are you homesick? When was the last time you saw the saniwa or your friends back home? Will this mission ever end?! 4. Frontlines - Battle Finally, it's time to fight! Everything you've done has prepared you for this moment and it's time to resolve it once and for all. Did you gather enough information to prepare for all of these enemies? You didn't get any funny ideas that might put you on the wrong side of this assignment, did you? Regardless of what happens, it would appears that [That Person You Keep Losing] has finally decided to show up when you needed them the most so at least you don't have to worry about that anymore. 5. Frontlines - After The battle is finally over and it's time to go back home. Was the mission a success or a total failure? Maybe you're coming back home with a +1 in your party. Regardless, it's time to get yourself checked out now. You've worked hard and it's time to get those repairs in. Hopefully they aren't too severe! But those with heavier injuries can expect to be down for a few days. Don't worry, there will certainly be plenty of bedside visits. 6. Wildcard This is basically an open post to deal with swords doing miscellaneous assignments whether it's mundane chores or mission based assignments. Feel free to come up with your own prompts for things like "babysitting the problematic sword boy," "have you seen Mikazuki Munechika?," and anything else you can think of. |

Yet though she's sure he's purposely guessing wrong, it still gives her the teeny tiniest twinge of jealousy to hear him say another woman's name, even if it's her little sister and she's pretty confident there's nothing going on between them. [She looks perfect in her modern uniform too, or in her more relaxed clothing that she wears around the citadel... well, in Mikazuki's opinion, she looks beautiful in everything, to be quite honest. Or wearing nothing at all, that works too.]

[At least as far as she knows... As for battling in a kimono, well, his kimono is much looser and has much more room for movement than her current attire!
Ichigo is feeling very content though with his answers so far, and she moves to sit on his lap so that she can snuggle closer against him.
However, his next answer does makes her look up with a frown and a pout.]
... Mikazuki... you can’t keep running away from your duties like that! Also... [She moves to whisper in his ear.] ... if you don’t do your chores, I can’t show you the other clothes I recently got. Aruji says she won’t give them to me unless you do your chores... They are things I can’t wear in public...

He's not really lying either when he says he's not sure if he's supposed to be anywhere else. He didn't pay attention. People usually find him when he needs to be somewhere and he is not.]

His kiss and his caress is very distracting and she already feels her body getting quite warm. She pauses in her attempt to tease him as she tries hard not to make a sound instead. A tiny whimper still escapes though as she grips lightly onto his arm.]

[That is a good point though. There is hardly anyone around right now. They could do whatever they wanted and she might not need to suppress all the sounds she wants to make- Stop! No, she mustn’t fall for yet another attempt to divert her attention! Ahhh... but why is her husband so good at making her want to- Her body feels so warm and a little bothered already from the thought of-!
She continues to keep her gaze away from him. Maybe if she doesn’t look at him, it’ll be easier to deny him.]

Well, her clothes are in his room since she spends almost all her nights there. She is also aware that she didn’t actually say ‘no’ because he’s now planted the idea in her head that it’s possible to do certain things in the daytime too, and she can’t stop thinking about it...! But no, chores come first! She mustn’t be affected by his bad influence!
Ichigo finally turns back to face him.]
I will do that, but you need to change too as you can’t wear this to the stables. You’ll get it all dirty.
[She gets up, taking his hand to try pulling him up as well.]
Come on. We need to get changed.
[And she will need help undressing after all, just like how she needed help putting on her kimono in the first place. For though she’s very skilled at helping him dress, she is very unused to wearing more traditional clothing herself... Modern clothing is so much more convenient after all.]

Ichigo lets out a gasp of surprise then quickly puts her arms around his shoulders. She is about to protest, but she also really likes being carried, especially by her husband, so after a brief moment of internal conflict, she leans happily against him with a little smile instead.]

[Wait! Hang on a moment though! Usually, when he carries her like this to his room- Her brow furrows into a little frown and she looks at him seriously.]

[He laughs.... but doesn't agree to anything as he carries her all the way to the room he occupies in the Sanjou area of the Citadel. here in a row, you can find his room, and then next door Kogitsunemaru's and after that Ishikirimaru's.
They are, of course, all empty at this time of day.
He comes into his room, the lowered bamboo blinds giving some shade and intimacy to the atmosphere, and finally lowers her to the floor.]
