( It takes a while to find Mikazuki. This citadel is so big and he's so naturally curious, he finds himself poking a little deeper into the wrong direction every now and then. But he's focused and when he puts his mind to something, he follows through with it. It's how he eventually finds MIkazuki just as he's getting ready to head off into the bath. )

( Stepping into the changing room, he'll just start taking off his clothes layer by layer. He saves the bandages for last. Not for any special reason, of course! It's just that they're easy to lose in a pile of clothes so he'll take those off last and put them on top of his clothes. It definitely has nothing to do with the scar under them that runs across his side. He doesn't even seem to notice it's there. )
I dunno, it might be more fun with more people around but I guess I get it, if ya wanna relax...
[Mikazuki has... a lot of layers, so by the time Mutsunokami has removed the bandages, he is still shrugging off his last kimono layer and starting to unlace the ties holding the leather shoulderguard on.
He doesn't always wear the inner armor but since they had just come back from travelling, he had it on and then there was no good time to just go and get undressed properly after that.]
[Of course, there's a lot of fumbling, as usual when someone discovers the Sanjou layers for the first time, but it's fine. After a little while, they have everything more or less folded and in order and Mikazuki can follow Mutsunokami into the bath, grabbing a washcloth and some soap on the way.]
I am surprised you are still up. For your first day here, I thought you'd be more tired. Ah, but you've always had a lot of energy, haven't you?
( It's his first bath! Of course he's going to hurry to experience it. It's interesting how they seem to just know. some things and yet, they're still first experiences. At least, bathing hasn't changed too much over the years. Sure, it's become more advanced over the year but you turn the water on, you get the right temperature, and the rest is easy, right? At least, for him. He's always been a intuitive and fast learner. There will be other things that don't come as naturally-- things that he understands in theory but will still have to learn to execute. )

( The comment gets him to slow down a little. He's never known MIkazuki. Sure, they've shared spaces in the same museums before but that's different from actually crossing paths. So he must mean another Mutsunokami, one that was here before him... even though he's the only one like him! It's funny how that works. )
I guess I'm pretty young I wasn't around long before the Age of the Sword came to an end. 'S pretty weird to be here right now, if ya ask me. It's been the Age of the Gun for so long, you'd think they wouldn't need us anymore.
It would be nice if we were indeed not needed anymore.

When it gets in his eyes, he's quick to get them rinsed with water but that doesn't stop him from reacting as one would expect him to-- animated, loud, but in good nature. Once he's sure he's clean, he's more than eager to get into the water which is... it's hot. Hotter than a person and he oohs and aahs as he settles in. He's only been a person for such a short time and everything is so new and exciting, even the things that are uncomfortable. )
I gotta say, though...I never thought my new master'd be a girl. And a kid, too!
... Dunno how I really feel about that, if I'm being honest.
( His voice is light but it's quiet, just the tiniest bit more serious. )
[Mikazuki watches the antics of the younger sword with a benign smile, giving a few instructions when needed but otherwise letting him figure out most things on his own.
But when he hears Mutsunokami speak again, his smile... changes a little. It's still there, btu there is a sort of edge to it.]
Do not underestimate her, Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki. After all, she summoned you.
