[Ichigo let Tsuru lead him. The hand patting is kind of comforting and he subconsciously leans closer to Tsuru. It does feel rather nice to just relax and let someone else make the decisions and look after him for a change.
Tsurumaru is special to Ichigo as well since he was the first spirit he saw when he finally awoke at the Imperial Collection from his deep slumber after being reforged. Tsurumaru was there to welcome him and was there when Ichigo first struggled to come to terms with his amnesia.]
