7 ❀ Assignments

1. Internal Affairs Perhaps the most mundane of assignments but someone has to help keep this citadel running, right? There are hoses to be fed, fields to be weeded, and don't forget the other odd duties here and there. With this many spirits inone citadel, someone has to help make sure everyone has dinner and the laundry is done! Hopefully you have a good partner helping you today but as some might know, sometimes the bigger question isn't who they are but where they are... Someone has to do the dirty work! So where are you?!

2. Expeditions Not everything is about fighting. Sometimes there are assignments to gather intel or help clean up after another squad. There are small things that can be done to make sure history follows its course and some fo those things include feeding the hungry after a disaster or just making sure the right people meet after their paths were thrown off. Expeditions are perfect for the new addition that needs to be eased into missions before being sent to the frontline.

3. Frontlines - Before Whether you're ready or not, it's time to go out to the frontlines. There's a big mission everyone needs to do and history is wildly off course. A squad is gathered up and sent to a difficult time and a battle is inevitable. Is this moment painful for you? Well, such is the nature of a touken danshi, right? Don't get too close to "That Person" and don't get any funny ideas. ... Also, where's [insert name of problematic sword boy that was assigned on this mission for some god unknown reason]? Or maybe it's been 20 years and you're still on this mission! Sometimes missions last longer than a few days or weeks. They can drag on for months and those months sometimes become years. How have you been keeping your cover and making a living in this era? Remember, don't stand out or cause too much trouble. Are you homesick? When was the last time you saw the saniwa or your friends back home? Will this mission ever end?!

4. Frontlines - Battle Finally, it's time to fight! Everything you've done has prepared you for this moment and it's time to resolve it once and for all. Did you gather enough information to prepare for all of these enemies? You didn't get any funny ideas that might put you on the wrong side of this assignment, did you? Regardless of what happens, it would appears that [That Person You Keep Losing] has finally decided to show up when you needed them the most so at least you don't have to worry about that anymore.

5. Frontlines - After The battle is finally over and it's time to go back home. Was the mission a success or a total failure? Maybe you're coming back home with a +1 in your party. Regardless, it's time to get yourself checked out now. You've worked hard and it's time to get those repairs in. Hopefully they aren't too severe! But those with heavier injuries can expect to be down for a few days. Don't worry, there will certainly be plenty of bedside visits.

6. Wildcard This is basically an open post to deal with swords doing miscellaneous assignments whether it's mundane chores or mission based assignments. Feel free to come up with your own prompts for things like "babysitting the problematic sword boy," "have you seen Mikazuki Munechika?," and anything else you can think of.

[Ichigo hurries to his side to carefully help him down. Good think she’s used to caring for old men then...! Does that sound wrong?? Anyway...!]

And you’re staying down until your wounds are better!

[She leans down to fluff his pillow up for him before making him lie down, then she reaches over to tuck him in. However, perhaps she shouldn’t be leaning down so much like that for surely Mitsutada is able to catch a brief glimpse or two down her dress at her decent-sized breasts.]

[ This is not what he was expecting when he had her rushing him back to his repair room. His face started heating up a little and he quickly had to turn his head to the side because if he kept staring... that would be really bad. ]

My wounds aren't really that bad are they...

... they are pretty bad.

[She frowns a little at all the bandages wrapped round him, checking to see if any need changing. Then she notices how red his face is! It must be from the exertion of his escape attempt!

She kneels down beside him, looking at him with great concern. It breaks her heart to see you lying injured like that...]

See! Now your face is all flushed from overexerting yourself...! Why were you even going out for? Are you hungry? Thirsty? I can go get you anything you want.

Ah... I just thought it felt stuffy in this room... so if I left for a few minutes maybe no one would notice?

[ That wasn't completely a lie. He did hate being stuck in this room for so long even though he knew it was for the best, but he was probably going to sneak off to the kitchen if Ichigo hadn't caught him red handed...

He turned his head toward her and felt his face growing hotter. He had to look away, she was sitting so close to him and he could feel his embarrassment hitting hard. ]

Stuffy? I’ll go open the door a bit then.

[Ichigo gets up to slide the door open a little to let in a light breeze then she settles down at his side once more. She frowns with concern when she notices how his face seems to have become even redder! She reaches out to hold a hand to his forehead.]

You seem to have a fever! I’ll go get a towel and some cold water. Don’t you dare sneak out again while I’m gone. I will hunt you down.

[And from the look on her face before she leaves, it is clear that is not an idle threat....]

W-wait Ichigo you dont-- she's already gone...

[ He sighs quietly to himself and just shifts so his head was staring up to the ceiling. ]

She is far too kind for her own good... I guess I really should stay put so she doesn't keep worrying.

[ he moved a hand to his face to try and hide his embarrassment. ]

[Ichigo returns a short while later, with a basin of cool water, a towel plus a pitcher of water and a cup in case he was thirsty. She smiles when she sees he’s right where she left him. Then she returns to his side and starts gently wiping his warm face with the cool towel.]

There. Does this feel better?

[She wonders if she should wipe the rest of his body as well... Surely he must be feeling quite sweaty and uncomfortable if he’s been feverish all this time. But then she decides just to concentrate on his face and neck for now. Though her hand does linger a moment on his chest.]

[ He probably did look a bit stranger than usual. Instead of his normal jersey attire that he wore around the citadel, he was wearing a black yukata in the bed instead. It made it easier for the Saniwa to patch him up and send him to the repair room, so that's what he stuck to this while time.

That does feel nice... thank you. But you don't need to do so much effort just for me.

[Well, the fact that he is wearing a yukata does make the idea of wiping him down completely much more tempting and feasible...

She rinses out the towel, then she asks rather shyly.]

Would... you like me to wipe the rest of your body?

[ Just the mere suggestion sends his face even redder and his heart even faster. Ichigo wiping off his body??? No he couldn't! ]

I-I'm sure I will be fine, you shouldn't have to--

[His reaction causes her to blush too. Is she being too bold and forward? But... she’s just looking after Mitsutada and helping to make him feel better so that he’ll recover sooner. Yes, that’s all she’s doing.

She shakes her head.]

It’s okay. I don’t mind.

[It’s not like she’s never seen a naked male body before and surely he has underwear on.]

You’ll feel much better afterwards and... I should probably help you change your bandages as well. I’ll go get more bandages first.

[And she’ll leave for a little while to go do that.]

Ichigo... she's far too kind for her own good.

[ He moved his uninjured hand to his face to try and hide his embarrassment as he groans in frustration. At himself mostly. ]

It almost feels dirty making her do something like this... but she's so determined to do so...

[Ichigo returns a short while later with a first aid kit and a basin of warm water. She settles back down by his side, suddenly feeling quite shy.]

... I’ll undress you now.

[She reaches over to undo his obi before gently removing his yukata...]

[ Luckily for the both of them, Mitsutada was wearing underwear underneath his yukata. It saved them both a bit of embarrassment. Not that having Ichigo do this for him was any less embarrassing... ]

You are far too kind, Ichigo...

[Still she can’t help stealing a glance at... that bulge before glancing away to remove his bandages.]

You’re injured and need to be taken care of. This has nothing to do with being kind...

[She pours some antiseptic on a cotton swab.]

Now brace yourself. This might sting a bit...

[Then she tries cleaning his wounds as gently as she can.]

[ He gives a small nod and lets his eye flutter closed so he could brace himself. He knew a stinging sensation was bound to happen, but if he just tries not to tense up too much it might not hurt as much... ]

Go on...

[Ichigo tries to treat his wounds as gently as possible while making doubly sure that everything is properly disinfected. Then she begins re-bandaging him.]

Your wounds seem to be healing well. Are the bandages too tight or uncomfortable?

They... are bandaged up just right I can assure you...

That’s good.

[She smiles and reaches over to brush the hair out of his eyes. And now... onto the main event!]

I’ll clean the rest of you now.

[With that, she rinses the towel out with warm water then begins wiping his neck and shoulders... leaning down towards him, giving him another unintentional view down her dress...]

[ he does try his hardest to be respectful and look away as she does this, but every so often he couldn't help but take a glance down her dress again. ]

Ichigo...

[Her hand is halfway down his chest, carefully wiping him, when he calls out to her. She pauses to look over at him, still bent over him, with a look of concern.]

Yes? What’s wrong? ... does it hurt?

N-No it's not a matter like that... b-but perhaps might I make a suggestion. Please... keep to my chest and above....

... just your chest and above? Are you sure? But what about your legs..?

[Then she falls silent for a moment as she looks away to rinse out the towel.]

I really am just cleaning you, you know. I’m not going and was never planning to touch you there without permission. ... I’m not that kind of girl.

N-no that's not exactly the problem here...

[ He coughs, tilting his head away from her. He honestly felt way too embarrassed by this, bit if she were to look again she'd notice he was a little more "excited" than before. ]

... not exactly the problem...?

[She glances over and definitely notices his ‘excitement’... Oh! She quickly averts her eyes from it, her cheeks quite pink. Yet... she can’t help but feel quite flattered. (Even if men tend to be quite easily ‘excitable’.)]

Oh... I... that’s alright. You don’t have to be ashamed about it. It’s a very natural reaction.

[... unless... he wants her to help him, well, relieve his problem~ :3]
